Some people believe that family counselling and couples counselling means you need to have everyone in the same room at the same time. Although there is a time and place for this, it isn’t necessary. It’s all about how you view the problem and I do relationship counselling all the time with only one member of a family unit.
If you’re struggling in a relationship and want an outside perspective, someone help you highlight the part of the problem that you have control over – individual counselling might be a great place to start. Together we will explore what’s getting in your way of living the life you want.
I have experience working with various presentations (stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, trauma, grief/loss) and I borrow from various modalities so all parts of you are welcome.
